I was wondering why so many Japanese things were trending, the only one I caught was that awesome Uniqlo twitter-mashup thing, which was all kinds of cool-looking and trended in an instant.

There’s a drama running on Japanese TV right now (I forget on which channel; Fuji, perhaps?) called 素直になれなくて. It revolves around people who first meet face-fo-face at a tweetup and continue, throughout the show, to interact via Twitter when they’re not hanging out together.

Agree Twitter is going nuts here – it’s a great way of finding out interesting new stuff too! The Uniqlo campaign made me wonder if Twitter now sells the number 1 slot on trending topics – I really hope not – but the Uniqlo campaign phrase stayed on there steadily for a long time!

Great to read about- I have a twitter account but I always forget to use it but it seems everyone and their dog is on there now.

I had no idea it was called something different in Japanese either- will have to ask my hub about that.
